As a result of the audit carried out by the CIS GmbH certification body, we were the first company in Poland to receive certificates confirming compliance with the requirements of the EN 50600 standard for TALEX SA Data Center in Poznań and in Wrocław. Our Data Centers are among the highest classes in terms of:
- Availability: Availability Class 4 (Highest class),
- Physical security: Protection Class 4 (Highest),
- Energy efficiency: Granularity Level 3 (Highest).
The comprehensive EN 50600 series of standards is a completely new European standard covering data centre facilities and infrastructure, developed by CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization), approved by the European Commission, and then ratified, and adopted for use by EU Member States. The subject of EN 50600 standards are both general issues concerning risk analysis and availability of data center infrastructure, as well as detailed industry guidelines for the design of new facilities, and evaluation of existing infrastructure together with guidelines for operational management.
Talex SA is the first and currently the only company in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe to have Data Centres with EN-50600 Class 4 certificate.
