Talex SA was one of the sponsors of the event 5th Autumn Rally of Vintage Vehicles, which took place on 28-30 September this year.  The rally was organized by the Commission of Vintage Vehicles of Wielkopolska Automobile Club. The base of the rally was located in the “Sadyba” Centre in Boszków, and over 100 km long rally route included, among others, the palace in Racot and picturesque windmills in Śmigiel. Among the vehicles at the start of the rally were 1929 Plymouth U cars and 1935 Aero 30. Numerous owners of old Mercedes, as well as BMW, Volkswagen, Porsche, Citroen and Skoda cars appeared. The great American Cadillac from 1966 and the Chevrolet Corvette from 1980 particularly drew the attention of the audience. The familiar silhouettes of Trabant and Polish Fiat 126p looked nice. There were also numerous attractions on the route for the participants of the rally: driving tests, navigation tasks, questions on sightseeing, and questions about the history of motorization. The culminating point of the rally was a car show and an elegance contest organized on the market square in Kościan, in which awards were founded by the Mayor of Kościan.
